 Welcome to the new and improved Bodyssey 2010 website.
We are delighted to be hosting Canada's best Face and Body Painting Convention in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, this year in August. Aimed specifically at Face and Body Artists and those who wish to learn more about this artform, this conference offers learning opportunities in every aspect of face and body art from a spectacular team World-Class Body Art teachers from all over Canada and North America.
About Bodyssey
Industry leading Face and Body artists will be giving classes, demonstrations, instruction and displays on all things face and body art related. Check out the Instructors' tab to see from whom you can learn how to improve your Face Painting, explore Body Painting, add Henna techniques to your reportoire and get to grips with Airbrushing, whether it be temporary tattoos or bodypainting. Competitions will be held in both Facepainting and Bodypainting for all delegates who haven't won before. FDA Compliant Face and Body paint and make-up will be available from the best in the industry at convention prices! Build your business and face and body art kits - with vendors like DiamondFX, Amerikan Body Art, Mehron, Kryolan and Snazaroo.
This year we will focus some of our attention on Facepainting designs for Halloween and Christmas, with special instruction on building your face and bodyart websites, increasing your web footprint, improving your photographic portofolio, and much more.
Registration
To register to attend Bodyssey 2010, simply click the registration tab. Delegates of Bodyssey 2010 are permitted to attend all classes and demonstrations given over the 3 days, and attend the Saturday night Gala Spectcular. Each delegate will also receive one professional photpgraphic image of the work they generate at the event for their portfolio from our official Photography team: www.JadeMedia.ca
Classes
Face and Body Painting Master Classes with Lucie Brouillard (Body Painting), Jinny Houle (Painitng Jewels), Nick and Brian Wolfe (Special FX make-up), Mark Reid (Facepainting for Boys) Larissa Reinders (Henna Techniques and Traditions) and more are open to anyone who wishes to attend. These Pre and Post classes have an additional charge. Click on the appropriate tab to learn more.
Last year's convention was a huge success in Toronto, and we look forward to welcoming lots of our old friends back. Many of the instructors from last year have asked to return again this year, and we are happy to see new teachers joining the Bodyssey team this year.
Online Community
This website is also a blog, so please take an active part - chat, comment, post pix from last year's event, or even stuff you are proud of now - we are very happy to support the ongoing industry buzz that is emerging in our wonderful face and body painting world.
We have also set up a wonderful forum for all of our face and body painting friends to actively participate in whether you want to chat, ask questions, post artwork, find a roomate... it's up to you to help create the content of this online body art community. Don't be afraid to contribute if you cannot make it to Bodyssey this year! This is for anyone who wants to discuss body art.
